Supplies:
- Hot Glue
- Rag Strip Scraps
- Tree Form
This is such a super easy project and it works up so fast. I think I need each of these trees in five minutes. I used what I had on hand which was a skittles candy dispenser that was a stocking stuffer for my kids. I can’t wait to try a bigger sized one.
I just help up my scrap pieces of fabric strips to the tree and determined what length I wanted it to be. I wanted it to be longer than the bottom of the tree so you couldn’t see the dispenser for the candy. I glued around the bottom and attached my scraps and worked in layers until I got to the top. The bottom scraps are a little longer than the other two rows. The middle and top rows are the same size of scraps. It’s okay if your scraps are different sizes. Make it how you love it.
I just think these turned out super cute and its a great project because they are so small. If you want to make them for a holiday, they will not take up much space in storage. They would be really great for a camper or RV. I put mine on my bookshelf in my house.
For better instructions I have provided the Facebook video below. I hope I have inspired you to try it or something similar. Happy creating to everyone!
