Mason Jar DIY

Mason Jar

This is a really simple project. All you need is some chalk paint, twine, and a decoration for the top.

This jar is a Classico spaghetti cause jar that I took the label off and cleaned. I painted it with Waverly chalk paint in the color Agave. When it was almost dry I used a wet wipe to give it an older look. I painted the lid in the same color. I should have varnished it at this point and let it dry but sometimes you gotta learn from your mistakes and that’s okay. So you varnish it first and let me do it the wrong way. 🙂 The last two things I did was attach a fake succulent I got at the Dollar Tree and some twine with hot glue. And there you have it!

I want to make different varieties of this project in different colors with different decorations for the top. I have a lot of spaghetti to eat before I can get more jars! I hope you guys try this one. The video tutorial of my Facebook live is below if you need anymore assistance.

I love crafting super easy and fast projects which don’t cost a lot of money to make. As a Mother of three kids, If I can’t make something within a certain time limit, I probably will never finish it. If I can make these things, anyone can make these things. I like to look for ideas from other groups and talented ladies; then try to make them for myself and show others how easy it is to do.
