There are several kinds of musical instruments that you shake to play. My daughter’s teacher challenged us to make a shaker instrument from things at home, and this is what we came up with. It’s kind of like a maraca, but we used what we had on hand.
Supplies:
Container (tin, plastic, glass)
Something that shakes inside it (rice, beans, beads, or apparently candy🤣)
Instructions:
Add shakable things to your container.
Fasten the top on (You don’t want anything flying.)
Play your heart out.
Have fun creating your own musical instrument out of things you have around the house!!!

Art is subjective and so is crafting. So, you may not love everything we make or do, but our goal is to inspire you to create yourself and make things that you will LOVE!
