Drawer Sachet

Rice Drawer Sachet

  • Fabric Scraps
  • Sewing Machine
  • Needle and Thread
  • Rice
  • Fragrance Oils/Dried Lavender/Cedar Chips

  1. Cut 2 of the fabric scraps out to the size you want your sachet to be.
  2. Put your fabric right sides together.
  3. Sew around three sides of the fabric, leaving a hole for adding the rice later.
  4. Turn the fabric right side out and push the corner of the fabric out.
  5. Make your rice mixture by adding enough rice and scents (just use your nose) to fill the sachet. Mix together with a spoon.
  6. Spoon the rice mixture into the sachet until almost full. Leave space to sew shut.
  7. Use needle and thread to hand sew shut.

I love crafting super easy and fast projects which don’t cost a lot of money to make. As a Mother of three kids, If I can’t make something within a certain time limit, I probably will never finish it. If I can make these things, anyone can make these things. I like to look for ideas from other groups and talented ladies; then try to make them for myself and show others how easy it is to do.
